A remake made with this tool.
You shot it horizontal; the platform wants vertical. The story slot wants 9:16, the thumbnail wants 16:9, the feed wants square, the site header wants something absurdly wide. Center-cropping between those shapes is how heads get amputated and compositions get gutted — the punishment for letting arithmetic do a designer's job.
Reframing does the designer's job. Pick a target shape and the frame gets recomposed for it: the subject moves to where the new geometry wants it, supporting elements rebalance, and fresh scene gets generated where the new dimensions demand more image than you shot. The output looks intentional — as if that ratio was the plan on the day.
The practical magic is the multi-run: push one hero photo through 1:1, 9:16, and 16:9 and walk away with a matched set for the feed, the story, and the banner, all recognizably the same shot. When you want your original pixels untouched and only more scenery bolted on around them, Generative Expand is the conservative sibling; Reframe is the one allowed to rearrange the furniture.

Questions, answered
Does the subject end up centered in the new shape?
It ends up composed, which is not always centered — tall formats often want the subject in the lower two-thirds, wide formats off to a third. The placement follows composition logic, not a bullseye.
Can I go from a tall phone shot to an ultrawide banner?
Yes, and it is the dramatic case the tool earns its keep on: 9:16 to 21:9 means most of the final frame is generated scene, built to continue your original's light and texture. Inspect the wings before shipping.
Is a reframed image safe to print?
Treat it like any composite: proof it at full size first. For print formats, reframe to the closest listed ratio, then hand the result to the Upscaler for resolution.
What if I only need a slightly different crop, not a new shape?
For small trims inside the same proportions, an ordinary crop in any editor is the right tool and costs nothing. Reframe is for when the destination shape genuinely differs from what you shot.
