Remake guide
Your dog, but animated-series material

Slide across to see the remake against the original.
Every dog is already a cartoon character — the eyebrows, the dramatic sighs, the personal vendetta against the vacuum. Photomaker just completes the paperwork. Upload a photo and the cartoonizer redraws your dog as the animated version: bold lines, expressive eyes, personality dialed to exactly where it already was.
The likeness is what separates this from clip-art dogs. The remake keeps the crooked ear, the eyebrow patches, the specific head tilt — so the character is recognizably your dog, not a generic breed illustration. Cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles all get the same treatment; personality in, character out.
What people do with the character is the fun part: sticker packs for the group chat, a print for the wall, birthday party graphics for the dog's party (no judgment), custom mugs and totes from any print-on-demand shop. Run a few photos — sleepy, alert, mid-bork — and you've got the character in multiple poses, which is functionally a model sheet for the animated series your dog deserves.
What usually gets in the way
- Generic breed clip-art looks nothing like your actual dog.
- Pet portrait commissions cost real money per pose.
- Merch and sticker projects need clean, bold art that photos can't provide.
- Capturing personality in a photo is hard; capturing it in art used to require an artist.
The remake, step by step
Cartoonize the dog's photo
It redraws your specific dog — markings, ears, expression — as bold character art rather than a generic breed.
AI CartoonizerCut the character out clean
A transparent cutout is ready for stickers, merch printing, and dropping into any design.
AI Background RemoverUpscale for print and merch
Mugs, totes, and prints need crisp line work at sizes far beyond a shared image.
AI Image UpscalerGood to know
Which photo captures a dog best for cartooning?
The one with the most personality — head tilt, side-eye, tongue out. Face clearly visible and reasonably lit; the character comes from the expression more than the photo quality.
Can I get multiple poses of the same character?
Run several photos with the same style direction and the outputs read as one character in different poses — the foundation of a proper sticker pack.
Does it work for cats and other pets?
Any animal with a photographable face: cats obviously, plus rabbits, birds, hamsters, lizards. Cat side-eye survives the cartooning process fully intact.
Can I put the character on merch?
The upscaled cutout is exactly what print-on-demand services want. For personal use and gifts it's straightforward; selling merch of the design is your call as the photo's owner.
